Trentham Cleaning Co. — Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to Trentham Cleaning Co. By accessing our website trenthamcleaningco.com or booking our domestic, commercial, or short-stay cleaning services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services and Quotes

  • Scope of Work: The cleaning services provided will be strictly limited to the agreed-upon checklist or package selected at the time of booking.

  • Quotes: All online or over-the-phone quotes are estimates based on the information provided by the client. We reserve the right to amend the final quote if the property condition, size, or requirements differ significantly from what was described.

2. Access and Safety

  • Property Access: The client must provide our staff with unhindered access to the property at the scheduled time (e.g., via a key, lockbox, or being present). If our team cannot access the property within 20 minutes of arrival, a lock-out fee equal to 50% of the service cost may apply.

  • Utilities: The client must ensure that electricity and running hot/cold water are available at the property. If utilities are turned off, we may not be able to complete the service, and full booking charges may still apply.

  • Safety Hazards: Clients must notify us of any potential hazards (e.g., structural damage, biohazards, aggressive pets). We reserve the right to instruct our staff to leave a property if they encounter unsafe working environments.

3. Short-Stay & Holiday Rentals

  • For short-stay/Airbnb accommodation cleans, bookings must be locked in ahead of time. While we aim to accommodate rapid turnaround schedules, we are not responsible for guest delays or late check-outs that impede our ability to complete a clean before the next guest arrives.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans change, but last-minute cancellations directly impact our scheduling and staff.

  • More than 48 hours notice: No fee.

  • 24 to 48 hours notice: A cancellation fee of 25% of the total booking price may be charged.

  • Less than 24 hours notice or same-day cancellation: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking price may be charged.

5. Payment Terms

  • Invoices are issued upon completion of the service (unless a pre-payment agreement is in place).

  • All invoices must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise specified in writing. Late payments may incur a standard administrative fee or suspension of future recurring services.

6. Complaints and Breakage/Damage

  • Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not completely satisfied with a clean, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will gladly return to rectify the specific areas of concern free of charge. We do not offer cash refunds.

  • Accidental Damage: Our team is fully insured and meticulous, but accidents can happen. If our staff accidentally damages an item, we will notify you immediately. Trentham Cleaning Co. is not liable for damage to items that were already broken, unstable, or improperly secured prior to our arrival.

7. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Nothing in these terms limits, excludes, or modifies any consumer guarantees or rights provided to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
