Exclusively serving Trentham residence and short-stay property owners with professionalism, reliability and care. These policies ensure smooth service delivery, clear expectations, and compliance with Australian Consumer Law. Thank you for reviewing them before booking.
Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy
At Trentham Cleaning Co., we value your time and ours.
Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less that 24 hours’ notice will incur a $40 cancellation fee, as we are unlikely to fill that spot at short notice.
No-shows or last minute lockouts may be charged the full service feel.
We understand emergencies happen- please contact us directly if special consideration is needed.
Payment Terms & Late Payment Policy
Payment is due on the day of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, bank transfer, PayID and PayPal.
- Invoices not paid within 7 days will be considered overdue.
- A 5% late fee may be applied to payments outstanding for more than 14 days
Under Australian Consumer Law, we reserve the right to recover debt and charge reasonable recovery costs if payment is not received within a reasonable time frame.
Scope of Work: Inclusions & Exclusions
Our standard residential clean includes:
- Kitchen and bathroom surfaces
- Floors (vacuumed and mopped)
- General dusting and wipe-down
- Emptying bins
- Spot-cleaning of glass (e.g. mirrors)
Additional service (by request and quoted separately):
- Oven interior
- Inside windows
- Inside fridge
- Defrost/ inside freezer
- Deep cleaning
- Short-stay turnover services (linen change, guest amenities)
We do not clean:
- High-risk areas (e.g. mould infestation, bodily fluids)
- Exterior windows requiring ladders
- Pest infestations
- Areas deemed unsafe or inaccessible

Privacy, Access & Key Security
We respect your home and privacy.
- Any keys, lockbox codes, or alarm details shared with Trentham Cleaning Co. are stored securely and used only by assigned, trusted team members.
- Keys are never labelled with names or addresses.
- Client information is kept confidential and not shared outside the business.
You’re welcome to be home during the clean, but many clients are not- and that’s totally fine.
Insurance & Liability Coverage
Trentham Cleaning Co. is fully insured for:
- Public liability (in case of injury or accident on your property)
- Property damage (if we accidentally break or damage something)
While our team takes the utmost care, accidents can happen. If we’re responsible, we will always notify you and follow up promptly.
We do not take responsibility for:
- Pre-existing damage or fragile items not disclosed
- Unsecured valuables or cash left in open areas
Team Conduct & Professional Standards
All team members at Trentham Cleaning Co. are:
- Trained in cleaning procedures
- Fully insured
- Police-checked
Booking, Service Holds & Rescheduling
You can book directly via phone, message (or online booking system which is coming soon!)
- Ongoing regular cleans will be scheduled at the agreed interval (e.g. fortnightly).
- If you need to pause or skip a clean, please provide 24 hours’ notice, including when any family member is sick.
- We’ll always try to reschedule where possible.
Please note that ongoing clients have priority scheduling, especially during peak holiday seasons.
Damage Reporting & Property Condition
To protect both parties:
- Any existing damage noticed on arrival will be documented and photographed.
- If we accidentally damage something, we’ll notify you immediately and follow our insurance process.
Please point out any sensitive items or surfaces when onboarding – your trust is our top priority.
Important Notes under Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Under ACL, you are entitles to:
- Services delivered with due care and skill
- Services that are fit for purpose
- Clear information about pricing and terms
If you believe there has been a failure to meet any of these guarantees, please contact us immediately so we can resolve it fairly and promptly.
Short-Stay Client Agreement
Trentham Cleaning Co.- Short-Stay Cleaning Partnership Agreement
Designed for Airbnb, short-stay, and holiday home hosts in Trentham
Service Scope
- Full property refresh between guest stays (kitchen, bathroom, floors, linen changes, rubbish removal).
- Optional add-ons: Oven/ fridge interior, restocking supplies, guest-ready styling (on request).
Scheduling
- Cleaning is scheduled between check-out (10AM) and check in (3PM), unless otherwise arranged.
- Hosts must confirm bookings at least 48 hours in advance.
- Emergency or last-minute cleans may be available at a surcharge.
Access & Security
- Entry methods (key safe, keypad, etc.) must be shared at least 24 hours before the first clean.
- We treat all properties with care and professionalism. Entry logs are kept, and team members are police-checked.
Property Condition & Damage
- Any visible damage or concerns will be reported immediately with photos.
- Our team does not repair or replace items. Host follow-up is required.
Payment & Invoicing
- Payment is due within 7 days of invoice.
- Ongoing arrangements can be invoiced weekly or fortnightly.
- Late payments may attract a 5% fee after 14 days.
Insurance & Standards
- Fully insured for public liability and property damage.
- We aim to present your property to the highest standard for every guest.
